I haven't used nut milk bags in years. In the past, I used them to make cheese, drain yoghurts and non dairy milks. I bought these to make some nut & grain milks. They are amazing! They work beautifully and strain out all the pulp easily. Their seams are strong and take a lot of pressure when squeezing the pulp. They are a breeze to clean too. All I do is done my dish gloves, rinse in very HOT water, add a bit of dish soap & rub between my hands to wash & then rinse thoroughly. It takes all of…

This works very well for making kefir ad far as it’s straining properties since it’s recommended not to use metal to strain kefir. Stainless steel is ok on occasion for that purpose. The reason I gave it a 4 star, rather than 5, is because the bags are bigger than I need, except the smallest one; which is still too big. Also, I wish they gave a choice in shapes. As it happens, I haven't used these yet, but they look very neat and sturdily-made, and will probably be easy to wash. I don't imagine stains will stick to this material. Judging from the stiffness of the nylon, I suspect that they might not stand up for the twisting treatment my husband likes to give the pulp when he has blended fruits to make juice--cheesecloth would be best for that; but I expect that they will do just fine for hanging up and draining other things, like when I want to make a

This product works very well the mesh is very fine, so as you squeeze the nut/oat/soy ingredients through only the liquid comes thru.It is a non cotton material, so the feel if it is "slick".Even after washing.

i bought these bags for cold brew coffee/tea and after making 3 batches of coffee, i have noticed that it doesn't really filter out a lot of the debris and you can get a sludge-like thing at the bottom of your jar. maybe its because i user error since i make mine with storebought grounds, and the ground size can vary, but i still feel that a good strainer should do that. strain. the mesh is fine, but i feel that a cloth would be more effective or maybe i should double up these ones? ill try…

I checked descriptions and reviews on several nut bags and wanted to be sure to get one that would do the job quickly and easily. This does the job beautifully- I made soy milk and needed to strain milk from vitamix blended beans. Cleans so easily and also dries seems like in minutes. Very pleased!

I just started making pressure cooker yogurt, these guys are for straining in the fridge over night. These easily hold a double batch, they're easy to clean ([the strained yogurt] just rinse any bits out then add a drop of dish soap, squish around like a shower pouf and rinse), dry quickly, store flat or folded easily. They feel like they'll last a long time, but I will happily buy replacements from here if the need ever occurs!

We make cheese on a small scale and these bags made a big difference in the skyr (Icelandic yogurt) we made to try it out. The bag was easy to use and clean, but the most interesting thing was that we had more good quality skyr from the same amount of effort. Less went down the drain. My skeptical spouse was impressed. Every week I make different juice recipes. I don’t like washing all the pieces to my juicer when I’m in a rush. These bags have made juicing very easy because once I blend all my ingredients, I strain them with my nut milk bag and I’m done. I then only have to wash a blender, and the bag. Perfect for the nut milks, but I bought to sweat out the water from Zucchini to make Zucchini fritters. This helps to not destroy the Zucchini after I great it when I need to wring all the water out from salting it to extract the water first. Perfect material, sturdiness that will last beyond years! Easy to rinse clean and dishwasher safe!

I use these for my watermon "agua fresca" I use for my blended, fresh guava smoothie, my guava jam puree and my homemade "chile Colorado" (Mexican red chile from dried chiles) I use for enchiladas. They're perfect. Leaving velvety smooth sauces and clear fresh juices. Only - I'd designate ONE of the three, exclusively for any chile straining - because chili stains and may leave a sort of flavor behind. I bought these to juice with so I don’t have to use a big bulky juicers and they work perfectly I blend my veggies in a bucket blender and then put the mix in these bag and squeeze the juice out. They are kind of annoying to clean but still way easier than if I were to use a huge juicer.

Easy to use. I usually don’t strain almond milk because I use the pulp and milk in my smoothies. Well, hubby decided to try almond milk in his coffee so I got out the strainer bag. I was amazed at how well it worked. I hesitated using it because I thought it was another version of cheesecloth which I don’t like to use. Well, this bag is awesome and worked so easily. Very pleased with the bags. Not only for making almond milk. I used one to make ham and beans. Meat cooks very well and all the meat is contained for those that don’t want meat in soup and still have flavor.

Perfect for my needs. I wanted something for Greek yogurt from my instant pot and these work great so long as I gently put the yogurt into the bag over a colander over a bowl and don't disturb. DON'T SQUEEZE OR PRESS YOUR YOGURT! It will just smoosh thru the mesh and you'll lose all you just made!I use the other bag for cold brew and with proper coarse-ground beans it works great. No complaints! Love these kitchen multitaskers.

These worked great for making horchata with filtering out the grittiness of the the rice. It’s very easy to clean and use. The horchata can out smooth and delicious.
