Review on Bottled Water Dispenser System with 1 Gal/Min Pump and 20ft PE Pipe - Perfect for Home Coffee Brewer, Ice-Maker, and Refrigerator by Chris Hamim

I bought it over a year ago and finally installed it yesterday and today. I am also impressed with the very solid construction of the plastic case and hardware. So was I and I hope. The instructions didn't seem bad so when I installed everything it just worked but didn't pump water, I was very surprised. Get up this morning determined to try to bleed the air by filling the system. As suggested in another review, I 1. sucked water out of the water jug through the supply line and then quickly connected to the pump. There is no joy. I tried 2. filling the pump with water and then step 1 again. No joy. Then 3. I placed the jug on the counter and poured a siphon of water through the supply hose before connecting it to the pump. Still no joy. Then 4. I refilled the pump with some water and holding it with the connectors facing up, plugged it in, turned it on and got some water moving. Then he did steps 1 to 4 again and this time JOY JOY he finally started pumping water! They really should put that in the manual. I'm very stubborn and got this job after a few hours of work. I think most would have struck long before then. Hence 3 stars for now. However, there was a small half-second brr noise every 20 seconds or so, even after I turned off the faucet. It's like it started, but then not anymore. I went back to check for leaks and found one at the faucet connector. When I turned it on, the pump stopped turning on. Problem solved. The relay is sensitive even to a low water flow. So if you hear your pump trying to run as I described it could be due to a small leak. The one who enters the switch first never lights up again. I'm not sure if that's exactly how it's supposed to work, but it seems to be working fine now. I'll do another check if it continues to work fine or if there are any issues.
