I was impressed; Given the mixed reviews/feelings towards these EMPI reproductions of the original Solex in the VW community. But I was more than pleasantly surprised. When it arrived I removed the top and removed the plugs and jets to check for dirt and swap out the large main and idle jets they supply with the carburetor.
