There was another set on my 919 and I accidentally crimped one of the wires and cut the end of it so I ordered another pair. The backlight is very bright. There are a few things to consider when installing. I would use quick release pin terminals because if you connect direct and ever need to remove the license plate for some reason you will need to cut the wires where they go through the mounting screw. I placed a release pin under the seat and that makes things a lot easier if you need to move them for some reason. Another small problem, they are very difficult to clean. All the road dirt gets stuck in the little hole where the light is and you have to loosen it and scrape it off by hand. A soft head toothbrush works very well. Finally, I don't know if the seller or the carrier is to blame, but they sent it to the wrong carrier and it took almost a week to get here. So paying for Revain Prime and the promised 2 day delivery didn't work and Revain won't do anything about it.
