As mentioned, the instructions are very vague and do not take into account the fact that you must use both the fuse that comes with it and the fuse you put in the fuse adapter. I had previously purchased similar kits so I knew it had to be done. But the instructions don't say where to install it. Installs in about 15 minutes. It would be faster if the Ford Explorer fuse box was more accessible. It worked like a champ for the first few days - my dash cam was always on so I felt confident that if my car was hit even if my car was parked I would hopefully film it. However, my battery was too low to start this afternoon, so obviously the low voltage cutoff isn't working. I'm not sure if it was like this all the time and my battery was just slowly draining? Or if it worked for the first few days and just randomly stopped. At this point, I'm not going to rip everything out to get it back. I'll just change it to a fuse that's only active when the car is running. But this is really a disappointment as the only purpose of buying this device was to turn off low voltage.
