The advantage of this air cooler is that it cools efficiently. However, there are some flaws in the design. The biggest downside is that there's no easy way to drain the water from the radiator, meaning there's no slide-out water tray or anything like that. This is important because even if the cooler shuts itself off automatically due to low water levels, there is still a significant amount of water in the tank. Of course, if you're not going to be using the cool box for a while, you don't want standing water in it. I have found that the only way to drain the radiator is to lift it into the pan and tip it on its side allowing the water to drain out through the small filler flap on the side. I then had to crawl in with a towel to soak up the remaining water. The radiator screens also need to be cleaned regularly. I haven't done this yet, but again the design makes this a daunting task as I've read that it takes over a dozen screws to remove on the back of the cooler to actually loosen the filter and close it disassemble to clean it. . Not very comfortable.
