Review on HIMIKI Liftgate 20837962 22796263 Compatible by Patrick Nepal

My Cadillac SRX is having an issue where water from the sunroof rail is getting into the spare tire pan and soaking the hydraulic unit and control module to the point where they no longer function. I had to open up the body of the hydraulic block and dry the foam surrounding it, after which I sealed the block with Flex Seal. I also drilled a 3/8" hole in the very back of the pan and pushed it in to allow it to drain. The HIMIKI block is a direct replacement and easy to install. I just disconnected the battery before installation and when I reconnected everything worked without reprogramming, problem solved!
