I like to drink/make coffee. I have many different types of coffee makers in my home, but I bought this one as my first Moka style espresso coffee maker. The main reason why I chose this item is that it is made entirely of stainless steel, as the aluminum material can cause health problems when heated to a high degree. I have the 12 cup version and it's a little larger than expected. You can see it's larger than a 16 oz Polish spring bottle. The construction is solid and the body is beautifully polished. here is my tip for preparing coffee with this kettle: 1. grind the beans finer (for espresso), adjust as you like. Don't use too many bases compared to regular coffee. I used 2 teaspoons for my brew. then distribute the grist in the Level2 filter. Pour purified BOILING water onto the bottom, DO NOT FILL THE HOLE. I poured 10 cups of pre-boiled water to bring it to the right temperature faster and for an even extraction.3. Assemble the pieces and place on a gas stove (works on other electric and induction stoves too!). use medium or low heat.4. After about 3 minutes you should start to hear a gurgling sound. Turn off the heat and remove the pan as soon as you hear the gurgling sound change (because it's done).5. First touch the handle to make sure it's not hot, then immediately remove it from the heat and place it on a damp towel. serve and enjoy!
