After a year of use, the filter runs strong but has poor suction. If you have carpets or carpets with children or pets, get another vacuum cleaner. The hose has holes at the base of the handle and won't pick up anything from carpets except large crumbs. It picks up dog hair in the brushes and needs constant turning and brushing. I have 1500 square meters. feet and I flip it over at least 5 times per vacuuming session to clean it. To be honest if you have a small apartment with all the hardwoods and no kids/dogs this vacuum is great. Otherwise DO NOT BUY. Original: Well I've had this vacuum for 4 months now and I feel I can give a pretty accurate review. To give you an idea, our family has two children under the age of 5 and a medium sized dog that sheds a lot. I run the vacuum at least 2-3 times a week due to heavy fur shedding, heavy crumbs and dirt. Our home is a one story home, all hardwood and tile except for two bedrooms. I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner. , the suction power is excellent, the maneuverability is excellent, the body follows you easily. It's not too heavy to lug around and overall not too intrusive. The plug reel is AMAZING, the cord no longer coils up. I also like buttons that you can press with your foot. Let me break it down into the different attachments that it comes with. The hard floor nozzle vacuums and collects dog hair and small crumbs well, but if you have kids I like to toss Cheerios and all sorts of big crumbs on the floor, this head just pushes everyone around. In fact, I have to pick it up and put it right on top of the big crumbs so it sucks them up, which is labor intensive. General use is fine, but I'm not very happy that it doesn't pick up large crumbs better. In fact, I've found the other head to be more useful. It is shared between the hard floor and the carpet. We only have relatively short pile rugs in two bedrooms and I have about 4 rugs of different sizes. This one does really well on hardwoods, especially fur since the brushes are made of hardwood. Big crumbs come together quite well, not 100% of the time, but good enough for me. I'm really good at vacuuming all rugs and carpeting in two bedrooms! I don't notice a lot of dog hair or stains in the dirt or crumbs after one use. The reusable filter is good, I've washed it before because I had to collect a lot of dirt and it got into the filter. It seems to be a hard working filter and I'm happy with it. My complaints relate to the clamps around the pipes. It's cheap crappy plastic that broke into multiple pieces and now just disappeared. That cheap aspect bothers me about the rest of the plastic parts because let's face it, you bump into things quite often when vacuuming. Even if you suck slowly and carefully, you still bump into things. Not sure how long the heads or handles will last. Overall, I owe my four star rating to the fact that I'm not sure if this vacuum will last as many years as our last vacuum, or if it will last more than a year. Ease of use is great, but I would also like durability.
