I hooked this up in the wall between my Yamaha RX-V379 and an Acoustic Audio HDS10 passive subwoofer. I had to turn up every SW and LFE gain just to get a response with the extra volume turned on. Yes, the crossover is fully open. Yes, my speakers are set to small. This amp turns on and can be heard, but when there is no sound, the amp emits a very loud hum from my subwoofer regardless of the subwoofer level setting. If anyone says my amp is defective and not just junk please let me know so I can try another unit before requesting a refund.
