Review on Tubbs Snowshoes Mountaineer W by John Wood

These snowshoes are not only beautiful, but function fantastically! I needed to replace my tired 10-year old snowshoes, also Tubbs, with a newer pair meant for backcountry hiking. After reading many reviews, I went with Tubbs hoping they will last just as long as my new pair. The snowshoes arrive earlier than the initial shipping notification (win!), and were boxed nicely. The color is beautiful, and although I am not "girly-girl” I am loving the vibrant purple. The crampons are amazing, and the heel lift awesome. The heel lift is difficult to put back down, but I anticipate over time, it will become easier. Awesome product!
