Review on Enhanced Pertronix D175510 Flame-Thrower Rover 8 Cylinder Plug & Play Electronic Distributor with Ignitor Technology and Vacuum Advance by Joseph Lang

Absolutely perfect except the wires need to be about 6 inches longer for my 1995 Land Rover. They sit alongside the standard distributor (with remote booster) and are almost identical. I removed the oil pump drive as my Rover has a crank driven oil pump. Vacuum conveying is even a Lucas "Made in England" block. The wiring was very simple, two wires going to the coil and that's it. What I want to know is how they can sell it for a little more than the cost of a standard vacuum cleaner. Get that, coil 40011, set of spark plugs and ignition wires and replace the entire ignition system. I highly recommend buying this over swapping parts on the stock ignition. -- edit -- 8 years later and still works great!
