High quality stones. I need to understand your grit :^)

Very good for finishing/polishing steel. Please don't blame the stones if you don't understand that 1000/6000 is not for removing material such as repairing burrs, creases, chips or unfinished blade edges. This can be done by sitting for hours, but it's really more about buffing and finishing the edge. This is what makes a blade razor sharp. Get 200/600 or 100/400 for the top edge. This is a triangular edge shape that (in most cases) should be even on both sides. It will take MUCH less time and then buff at 1000, finish at 6000. Beautiful stone, it becomes razor sharp if only tarnished over time. The stone has not warped, cracked or worn badly with fairly heavy use. I use water with a few drops of morning cleanser to dampen the stone before use.

Pros
  • The operation is very simple, you just need to soak the stone in water 10-15 minutes before use and lay it flat on the platform, then grind and polish while keeping the angle. blade (10-20Β°).
Cons
  • High price
