UPDATE: After a few weeks of disassembling and reassembling the pump every couple of days to make the noise go away, the noise issue seems to have resolved itself. It's been quiet since the last couple of cleanings. No idea what the problem was. Updating to five stars as the product is now good._____I'll mention the problem first: it becomes annoyingly loud after a day or two. To clarify, if I take apart the pump and put it all back together, it's nice and quiet for about a day or two, then it starts having a vibrating noise. And it's not a water level issue.For that first day when it's quiet, it's great. One of my cats likes to dig at the water bowl because she doesn't see well, so now there's no more spilled water everywhere!Now if only it would stay quiet
