I really like the size and compactness of this model as compared to others. The foundation makes a soft hum while pumping water. I was originally worried about the height, but as you can see, my cat is plenty tall enough to drink from the fountain. The pump easily comes apart for cleaning. The manual says you should clean it every two weeks. Not sure if I'll keep up with that haha.I was worried that my cat wasn't drinking out of it at first, but just confirmed, he is.

I quite like this water fountain. It is quiet until you let it get too low in which it makes a sound. I have 2 kittens and I do have to change it often. They empty it in about 4-7 days. They also somehow always get cat food in there. I even tried moving their bowls and they still seem to somehow find a way lol it is somewhat easy to clean though. This is a big improvement over our cat's previous drinking fountain! First, it arrived on time, completely assembled, along with the cord wrap and plug. You could tell that whoever wrote the instructions didn't speak English as their primary language, but they were understandable and concise. Really like this fountain. Quiet, easy to see what the water level is. The only difficulty I have with cleaning it, is trying to get the screen cover off the pump. I've had this about a month and so far no issues. I have notice the water runs out pretty quickly the longer i've had that, but that may be due to my cat drinking more water, which is ok by me! It's quiet, and easy to assemble.

When I first received this item, I received a defective pump. However, when I contacted the seller, they sent me an entirely new replacement unit instead of just a new pump, which is awesome. The new unit works great and I much prefer it over the Catit water fountains I had been buying for years prior. Unfortunately I missed the return deadline for this or else I would've returned it. The machine seems to be designed in a way that holds a lot of dirt. There are a few different parts of it, and I have to clean it every week. Definitely annoying and wish I would've been able to return it. I'm looking for a new one that will be easier to use and clean.

Easy to assemble and easy for my cat to disassemble. The fountain in it works well but my cat takes the entire thing apart at least every other day. We are planning to glue it together but then it will end up being more difficult to clean.

UPDATE: After a few weeks of disassembling and reassembling the pump every couple of days to make the noise go away, the noise issue seems to have resolved itself. I am very pleased with this purchase. My two cats were quickly interested in this, esp coming from a water bowl. Now they are always drinking clean, fresh water and with the help of the water level reader I can tell they are drinking more than before. The fountain itself is easy to clean and maintain which is important, at the perfect price for something that will have to eventually be replaced. Have had this since July 2019 (writing this Nov 18, 2020) and the pump is still going strong but starting to vibrate louder so it's due time for a replacement for sure, but the overall satisfaction is still superb. The cats both love it and it's elegant and simple looking and fits in with any style of decor.

I have 2 lynx. One got a UTI so I was encouraged to put out more water bowls and fountains. One is drinking from it on day one. The other is very hesitant cuz he's more of a stagnant water guy. I recommend setting the pump at a Low flow. Shouldn't scare them as much just a slight ripple of water flow. Best thing about this bowl is I dont have to refill it every day! There is a min and max level of water. Thus the pump shouldn't burn out so quickly.

It's been working well for at least a couple months with constant use; unfortunately, my kitty has no interest in it and instead prefers to drink out of a bowl with standing water. I haven't had any issues with fountain function and it is very quiet, scarcely noticeable, even when in the same room. I would give it a 5 star if only my cat would actually use it, perhaps because of the height, but the running water looks cool!
