Review on ZHONG HUAN ZhongHuan 9MM 23 by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Please correct the size for future buyers.

The size differs by about 0.5 mm. The small rings should have an inner diameter of 6mm, but they don't fit my 6mm needles (US10). I tried different pairs to make sure they weren't needles. The small rings fit well (do not slide well) on my 5.5mm (US9). I have attached photos. The same goes for 9mm (US13) which is more like an 8.5, but I don't have needles of this size, on my 8mm (US11) they are perfect. The given size probably refers to the metal ring in front of the plastic coating. I'm surprised no one else has asked for this change. I bought these to use in the lace projects, where I work with 6mm needles (US10). (I knit tight, don't judge lol) I have to use big rings which on the contrary seem too big but they fit and are a lot better than the alternatives and I'm very happy knowing they don't have gaps in mine leave stitches. The sizing variance is really disappointing as 6mm and 9mm are exactly the sizes I usually use, unfortunately it was too good to be true. I wouldn't recommend fixing the gauges, I would say getting them to size because it was a good idea to sell this set that way. They're magnetic, which is pretty cool. The colors are pleasant. I'm glad there's plenty of choice to contrast with the color of the yarn and/or needles I'm working on. Perhaps the dark color is not enough for the little ones. The colors are a little lighter than advertised, but the seller spelled the description "light blue" correctly. I'm pretty sure knitters don't use hidden stitch markers, so maybe just take that off the ad. People don't get confused.
