The first block was defective. The platter's platter was removed from the spindle, resulting in a large protrusion on it. Not a big deal, but then the start/stop function of the device didn't work and the device wouldn't stop spinning until you unplugged it. The return was easy and the 2nd device was received quickly. So far, so good. The sound is good through my Aiwa 80s receiver with 100 channels. I'm concerned about reliability, but it's only $70. I would spend a little more and go with Audio Tech or Denon.
