Immediately on arrival - turntable and accessories

On paper this sounds like a great budget fully automatic player. Unfortunately it came and does not turn on. There will be an exchange for another block.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Faulty

Light, very pleasant sound

Light, beautiful sound when connected to a stereo system. Does NOT come with an RC cable to connect to your stereo or speakers! otherwise she is a jewel!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Interchangeability

Good turntable in turntables

Works very well I ordered it because all lp60 audio equipment was out of stock. The manufacturer was supposed to ship in a separate box, although it works fine otherwise. Unfortunately I had to order a replacement, I guess it's hit or miss.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Clarity

Belts slip best in turntables and accessories

Belts and turntable are brand new and the belt keeps slipping. Trying to replace, hopefully better second time. Update * the new one works better. It's best if you know what you're doing. DO NOT BE CAREFUL WITH THE BELT. IF YOU DO BE CAREFUL, DO NOT STRETCH IF YOU CAN HELP. BUY INSURANCE.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Good but not great

The dimensions given are incorrect

I bought this turntable because of the size. The description says 14 x 14.5 x 4.5 inches. In fact, the smallest size is over 15 inches. That means it doesn't fit in my space. I didn't even manage to connect it. I went in, tried to put it back on and was disappointed. I have no idea how it sounds or works as I just put it back in the box for a refund.

I'm a bit nervous

The first block was defective. The platter's platter was removed from the spindle, resulting in a large protrusion on it. Not a big deal, but then the start/stop function of the device didn't work and the device wouldn't stop spinning until you unplugged it. The return was easy and the 2nd device was received quickly. So far, so good. The sound is good through my Aiwa 80s receiver with 100 channels. I'm concerned about reliability, but it's only $70. I would spend a little more and go with…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Some defects

Great player for the price!

Sounded good but not great on first reception. Further investigation revealed that the left channel was not working, so in mono. Contacted Revain and they sent a replacement straight away. I sent the original back for free with no problems. The replacement sounds great (the first one may have been damaged in transit). Anyway I hooked it up to a Brilliant Soul Soul Tech speaker in my bedroom and am very happy with it. I have a vintage stereo group in my living room and it competes with it…

  • Amazing
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great entry-level turntable with decent sound for little money.

This affordable Crosley turntable is sleeping a little. Yes, it's plastic and almost everything is fixed and not adjustable. Unlike its sturdy brethren, however, this cheap Crosley features an Audiotechnica moving magnet pickup and metal arm. When played back via an external phono stage, the sound sounds much better than it deserves (the internal preamp can be switched off, but I didn't use it). I use it with an old Scott receiver and Wharfdale Denton speakers and it's very musical. It doesn't…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not the best
