Pros and cons of using on a bed

Sold as a heated bedspread and I would give five stars for that. And this is what the blanket looks like on the bed: Pros: Comfortable, works well, nice color (mine is green), easy to use, coils aren't intrusive. Warms up the bed quickly. I've only used the low setting and it's warm enough. Cons: The microfiber fabric is so soft and slippery that it often slips, causing the comforter to curl up between the rest of the bedding in the morning. at the foot of the bed or at the head of the bed and slid off the bed onto the floor once. It can depend on how much you move around while you sleep! As such, it requires a little more maintenance than some of the other more coarse-textured electric blankets I've had that stay in place. Also, the heating coils stop about a foot from the edge of the blanket, so a foot on either side doesn't get warm. I like it because it gives me a place to move to when it gets too hot. However, if you want to keep every inch of your bed warm, this might not be the right choice for you unless you buy a larger duvet than you could otherwise get. Overall I'm happy with it, but I'm considering putting velcro on it so it stays in place on the bed.

Pros
  • Is it worth the money
Cons
  • Is ok
