Shocking Surprise Best of Dogs

My 14 pound terrier mix has a mind of his own. No matter how hard we tried, she wouldn't stay in the yard, and we live outside of town in a gated community, and fences aren't sanctioned. We live by the river and there are a lot of deer here. Have fun for the little dog. Long story short, she realized that marking was the limit, but with the collar in the second take, it didn't hurt her to just push the limit. Set the collar back to position three, and after the last run across the border, she found that she really liked staying away from those flags. I experienced static electricity before trying it on her and it's like static electricity when you shuffle your feet on carpet. We're in our third week of training and I'm really comfortable with letting her run outside without fear of her running away. The consideration is that other dogs will come into my yard with no problem, so THEY can still pose a threat to my small dog. It took me about 2 hours to install the system. I placed the control box in the attic to protect it from the elements and simply routed the cable behind the gutter to the ground. I have a split fence around part of my yard and I just attached the wire to the underside of the bottom rail. I would buy this product again. If my determined dog learns, any dog can. Even my wife, who thought it amounted to animal cruelty, is glad we fixed it.
