This is one of those rare AMAZING serial adapters! First up is the FTDI chipset which is one of the (if not) the best and most compatible chipsets out there! The next big part are the TX/RX/Power LEDs! Sometimes it really helps to see if you're having trouble transmitting or receiving, and you can see when you have power and the TC/RX LEDs are blinking while you're sending data through them! (They are off by default and blink in the same way as your hard drive's LED when in use.) Mine ships with all LEDs available and installed. Although I didn't see any labels on it and couldn't tell where they were until I pocketed it. But it works great! Definitely a great find and a quality product!
