This cutlery set is really good quality, I like the finish and polish, it doesn't have any sharp edges like other cutlery pieces I've used and the smooth surface makes it easy to close to clean. The notch is only on one side of the knife, easily cutting the steak. Considering the advertised price, this is quite a worthy deal! Highly recommended
