If you don't need a suit or anything, look elsewhere.

I had such a fitted hat years ago, it was everything I wanted in a hat. But unfortunately it was stolen by unscrupulous former roommates and so after 3 years without it I finally decided to try to replace it. I knew it would be difficult to find another quality hat and I was not mistaken. As others have said, the fabric is very thin and light, not stiff at all, and one seam makes me feel like this hat won't last long. very long. There is no band around the edges to hold the shape so it folds over your head when you pull it over your head. To fix this I used some decorative pins to hold the supplied piece of cardboard to support the front of it. Some say it looks like a train conductor's hat, and that's because it's too big and the brim insertion points are awkwardly placed. When you tighten the backing, creases will form in the corners. I can't recommend this hat but I paid for it so I'll wear it until it falls apart. It's not bad, but if you don't need a suit or something, look elsewhere.
