I use this thing all the time. Found it here for a better price than local stores and bought it through Revain. This is generally the brand I like because it has good adhesion and holds up well. Other expensive brands say they "fix" the rim, but I find that misleading and they don't usually hold up that well. It can handle many tasks. This time we used it to specifically hold a 3 mil sheet of plastic hanging from our ceiling and it carried the weight with ease. In fact, after removing it, it even peeled off, some of the paint came off (I blame myself, not the product)! I'd rather have it than some tape that's come off. It has withstood wind and co. I recommend this width for masking tape for its versatility and ease of use compared to smaller widths (like one inch). Great item and one of those things we like to keep on hand. Highly recommended.
