This aluminum ring champagne cork is one item I really wish would work better than similar products. In short: it's not. I find this professional bottle capper for champagne, cava, prosecco etc. no better than the ones I have tried so far. The difference is in the loss of those tiny bubbles of fizz. The wine is not completely flat, but also not as sparkling as when first opened. In fact, I expect some carbonation loss, but not as much as this "professional bottle sealer" allows.
