I've used them a number of times to remove weights from tires, unfortunately I haven't fitted any weights yet. They make work easier, I used to have channel locks to take off. This tool makes it a breeze. They close very tightly, they don't hang around like most cheap tools. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
