It's a very nice bandage dress. I'm 5'9" and 148lbs and I ordered the large based on other reviews of it running small and it fit great. It did scrunch a little bit on the lower back but not too bad. It went a little above mid-thigh which worked for me and it didn't require me pulling it down all the time like other shorter dresses, which I loved. Even though it squeezes pretty tight, I still found it comfortable all night. Just be aware that if you have a pooch then definitely get some shapewear because it will define it more. It also photographs more shiny, which for me was not an issue. I got the royal blue which was not the one I ordered, but it was still a very nice color. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase :)
