Without a doubt, these are beautiful collars. In terms of how well this collar controls our dog: - On a scale of 1 to 3, where ONE is a regular chain/choke collar and THREE is a spiked collar with real spikes, I'll give this collar a TWO. It REALLY controls our dog, more so than a choke chain but less than a real Herm Sprenger Prong collar. It's just OUR special dog. Get this new collar - it's beautiful, highly functional and has it's place in the training world. I rate it 5 stars for quality, functionality and visual performance. Every different dog has a different sensitivity.
