20210301 Okay, the Braava mop is awesome. No problem. Haven't cleaned the wood by hand in months and it looks really great! Now the bad news. The Roomba vacuum cleaner is amazing. iRobot sent us a broken robot that is not working. So we spent $1400 on this junk and they will back it with a guarantee. But, alas, you have to do without the vacuum cleaner for three months as long as no replacement is ordered. Our compensation? Free repair kit. That's all. I've put off buying robot vacuums and mops for years while technology has advanced, and it looks like we're rushing. If you are considering purchasing this product then I will try to dissuade you. iRobot is not ready for the big leagues because of these bugs. 20201219: Still very happy with robot performance. Braava's sweeping performance is amazing and mopping exceeds our expectations. We're on our third map because we didn't quite follow the guidelines on the first two. My advice is to move things around (chairs, dog beds, cotton gins) for the first two rides. Then when you have a good card, put it all back. We have several rooms with tiles and a threshold that we closed or cordoned off for practice runs so he can finish his run and return to base station. When robots got stuck in tiled rooms during training, our maps didn't seem as accurate. I then started using the Beta Threshold tool on the map and now it goes in and out of those spaces with no issues. Can't rate the vacuum as my wife has broken it in and I've heard so far and it works great! 20201210: Robots are doing well and getting smarter. So proud of her! Still no problem. I wonder if there is a way to teach them. It's good that they learn on their own, but we could save them so much time. 20201208: We've been doing this for an hour now. So far it has been very well packaged and easy to connect. Learned every corner of the app in minutes. I think it's great. Now we just wait for the mop and vacuum to get 100% charged to get rid of those beautiful lithium ions. I'll report the first cleaning if I'm not busy and forget. But of course I had no problems like many reviews.
