That's only useful for the wooden disk above, which is pretty cute. The pivot bearing is absolute junk - six ball bearings are mounted in a very cheap plastic strap attached to a smaller wooden pulley. It binds and has no real turning ability. As I said, this part is complete junk. After reading the reviews I bought this for the wooden top disc (separate from the so called bearing) to mount the sculpture and bought a separate bearing to allow the sculpture to rotate: https://www.amazon.com /dp/B071ZD31Z5/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7 If you expect this to work like a lazy susan and/or platter then you will definitely need to purchase a separate bearing/platter and detach the top disc by attaching it to the new bearing .
