🌸 Lipper International 16-inch Acacia Wood Lazy Susan Kitchen Turntable Review

This lazy Susan doesn't roll over. The cheap base design actually pressed the bearings so hard into the wood that they left permanent indentations, causing the rotation to oscillate. The wooden top itself is great, but the plastic washer and the bearings in direct contact with the bottom of the tree is just a very lazy and poorly thought out design idea.

Doesn't turn easily, twisted so badly that the ball bearings have left indentations in the wood that keep snapping. I had to take it apart and put a piece of hard plastic between the bearings and the wood to keep it spinning smoothly. But it's a very attractive thing, which I'm glad I did, I just didn't have to use all of MacGyver's strength to do it.

I bought 2 of these to use as metal frame worktops that used to have glass tops. My dogs hit one and broke the glass. Luckily I was home to clean it before they cut each other. To prevent this, I replaced the glass with an acacia wood panel. They are much prettier than the original tops and serve my purpose well!

Bought two different lazy Susans: this one (the big one) and one from another Revain seller. It doesn't actually rotate, it just slides across the table. As you can see in the video, the other Lazy Susan I bought spins freely, but it takes quite a bit of force to spin. I'm disappointed because I wanted a bigger one that works well.

The size and color of this lazy susan is exactly what I expected and it matches the jewelry I bought it for. I wanted to be able to see the back and front of this Christmas set so it would work well. Unfortunately, it has some unusual blemishes that make it look almost checkered, but that's being hidden. That's only useful for the wooden disk above, which is pretty cute. The pivot bearing is absolute junk - six ball bearings are mounted in a very cheap plastic strap attached to a smaller wooden pulley. It binds and has no real turning ability. As I said, this part is complete junk. This is a very pretty lazy Susan but unfortunately it doesn't work as a whole. It didn't rotate smoothly at all, and when I unscrewed the bottom I found the reason. There is a fairly simple round plastic ring with 6 bearings that rotates in a wooden groove. The groove is pretty rough so I sanded it down a bit thinking it might improve rotation but it didn't help. The mechanism is crucial.
