Review on ๐ŸŒธ Lipper International 16-inch Acacia Wood Lazy Susan Kitchen Turntable by Julie Uhl

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Looks good but doesn't work well

This is a very pretty lazy Susan but unfortunately it doesn't work as a whole. It didn't rotate smoothly at all, and when I unscrewed the bottom I found the reason. There is a fairly simple round plastic ring with 6 bearings that rotates in a wooden groove. The groove is pretty rough so I sanded it down a bit thinking it might improve rotation but it didn't help. The mechanism is crucial. I have to say I was impressed with the seller when I asked for a refund. They not only gave me credit for the article but told me to keep it to myself. So now I use it as a pretty serving coaster! PS - I found an awesome lazy susan at Revain that worked great - Snowy River 19" Grooved Lazy Susan. The swivel mechanism is much better quality and spins so smoothly, just what I was looking for! Keep in mind though that it comes in natural wood condition and can get dirty quickly if not protected.I painted it in beautiful golden oak and applied a few coats of resin to it and it is beautiful.plenty of time in general but it would be nice if it was included in the price!
