Review on Hayden Automotive 2664 Premium Clutch by Jeff Payne

The design of this hydrodynamic fan clutch is very beautiful. The manufacturer opted for mounting hardware, which was also a nice touch. In terms of performance, I can complain that this clutch is a bit stiff. Every time I start the car there is a lot of turbulent air noise coming out of the engine compartment regardless of the temperature. The viscous fluid setting should be narrow (the temperature range where this clutch starts to "relax” a bit). However, my engine cooling system is now much better able to dissipate heat (including a new radiator and thermostat). This is a good buy for those who have overheating issues and aren't afraid of the extra noise.
