Overall this is a fantastic product. I've already used it for 5 roasts and it works as advertised, chilling the beans and picking up most of the chaff. However, the biggest issue I had is that it needs to be a bit higher in the actual cooling tray. Using this thing is almost a practice of dealing with frustration by using it for what it is. I ended up adding a 9 inch split mold pot ring to make it totally comfortable to use and to give me room to stir the beans hard and really get most of the chaff out. Is it worth? Yes, depending on the size. If you roast about 1/2-3/4 lb it should be fine depending on the size of the beans. I still wish it was a little bigger so I don't have to worry about accidentally dumping beans overboard. I would buy it again but would like the sides to be a few inches taller even if it added a bit to the price.
