This is a fantastic cooler! I was using a homemade cooler and was tired of carrying and constantly repairing different parts. This cooler is well designed, finished and has a very good build quality. Cools beans quickly. The only problem right now is a bad connection on the DC plug in the device, but I'll keep using it for a little longer and see how it goes.

I've been using it for a few months now. Before that, I poured my beans into a colander and cooled them with a hand fan, blowing out the chaff. It definitely left a mess on the floor and something on the table (I fry in the kitchen). This cooler chills grains in less than a minute and leaves no straw on the floor or counter. Absolutely wonderful. Love it.

I decided to try this device because I was curious if it would make a difference. A) This is half the size of my homemade rig. B) Sieves remove the chaff better. c) Chill the beans in less than 2 minutes. (A good minute or 2 faster than what I was using.) The price is definitely worth it, I can feel a noticeable difference in my coffee. Looks solid and should last a long time. Very happy with this product.

A simple product that cools roasted coffee beans very quickly. The cooling time for beans roasted at 470 degrees is less than 2 minutes. Wonderful! My only problem is that the device is very light. So if you press the power button with one hand while holding a can of hot beans in the other, the device will move with the few tries it takes to succeed (for such a simple task). . Solution: Turn on the cooler before removing the container from the roaster.

This has been on my wish list for a long time and I could never justify spending so much money on a fan to cool the coffee beans. I already had a "Store Vacuum / Colander" setup and it worked fine. Overall this is a fantastic product. I've already used it for 5 roasts and it works as advertised, chilling the beans and picking up most of the chaff. However, the biggest issue I had is that it needs to be a bit higher in the actual cooling tray. Using this thing is almost a practice of dealing with frustration by using it for what it is.
