This has been on my wish list for a long time and I could never justify spending so much money on a fan to cool the coffee beans. I already had a "Store Vacuum / Colander" setup and it worked fine. I got this today as a Father's Day gift and I'm really sorry I didn't buy it sooner. It chilled a pound of beans in about 2 minutes. The fan is incredibly powerful and pretty much sucks the chaff out of the beans. It collects in a fine-mesh partial sieve directly above the fan. You can throw it away or vacuum it up with a small car vacuum, but it won't mix with your beans! It's built really well and you can tell that someone really took the time to design it properly. I also gave it a taste rating because I know it will make my coffee taste amazing.
