I roast coffee in my garage and sell it online to friends and family. This bean cooler has helped simplify the coffee roasting process and saved my time and sanity. Let's start with the fact that this cooler is well built using quality materials. The base is solid and has a lot of weight, which gives the feel of a quality product. The bean holder is made of stainless steel with the perfect mesh size to let the chaff through but not swallow the coffee beans. The fan in the base is powerful enough. Sounds like an airplane taking off and slightly delays the audio. It doesn't bother me, but if you're in a position where a loud fan is an issue, that should be considered. Which is not a disadvantage for me. It's also easy to clean. This cooler usually completely cools my coffee in two minutes or less. I used to put my coffee in front of a 12 inch high speed fan and it took five minutes or more to cool my coffee. Even then, the coffee was still warm at the end. This cooler really shortens that time. Lock in the flavor of the coffee and prevent over-roasting. It comes with an AC adapter that plugs into any standard US outlet. It also has an on/off switch. Overall, this cooler is a great purchase for the Home roaster/coffee enthusiast, I highly recommend!
