Live in a hot and humid place where air circulation is essential. The internal sweatbands work great, directing sweat to the front of the helmet where it drips off. No more sweaty eyes! Very comfortable and the face shield is far enough away that you forget it's even there. Wanted a removable face shield for road riding. Not a downhill chopper so a downhill rating was not necessary. With this helmet you definitely feel safe off-road. Fits easily over my goggles by putting the helmet on the back of my head first and then flipping it forward with the face shield on. The shield comes off easily with the helmet on, but it takes a few tries to put it back on, but you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Other reviews indicated that the MIPS system squeaks, but this device has no such problem. Worth every penny.
