13 gallon bag, more than large enough for daily organic waste collection. They hold the weight of the contents well and will not tear or leak. They seem almost as thick as the reusable bags I buy at the grocery store. These bags do not have a drawstring. The packages are light green in color and I find it difficult to see the contents of the package clearly (I don't need to see what's in the package, just what I've marked). I noticed a faint odor when sniffing the bags and the only thing I can compare the smell to is Beef Jerky. The serrated areas make it easy for me to tear each pack off the rest of the roll. It is important to note that according to the information on the product packaging, these packs must be used within 9 months of purchase. Finally, I love that the outer packaging of the product is also compostable, so nothing goes to waste.
