Alright, so I needed a small hand axe for. my hobbies. This axe in particular can with a few whacks cleave a bone. It has no problem cutting wood with that knowledge. The weight itself is great. I can literally swing this thing all day while running around and it is perfect without getting tired but it is heavy enough that it has power behind the whacks. This thing has come in major use already in my short time of ownership. If you need something strong enough and easy enough to dispatch some less than willing participants, this is the one for you. My only gripe, it came and was pretty dull. I had to sharpen it myself, which honestly, I enjoy immensely anyway.
