Review on 🔧 Gates TCKWP328 Engine Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump: Ultimate Precision and Performance for Optimal Engine Timing by Mike Travers

I purchased a Gates timing belt kit for my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT and installed it in one day. Everything was as expected and changing the timing belt was easy. The price with the kit was ok compared to the OEM parts. One thing to note about the kit though, the stock OEM water pump gasket was a thin metal gasket, and the Gates replacement was either paper or cloth. The replacement paper/fabric sheet was torn during installation. So I reused the OEM metal gasket. If I had to do it again I would buy a new OEM gasket instead of the one that came with the kit. Otherwise I can only recommend this set!
