Review on Progressive Dynamics PD9245CV Inteli Power Converter by Victor Correa

I installed this and found the smart charging features very useful. I replaced an older model PD-9040 in my trailer which instructed the user not to leave this converter on all the time. The old model could boil the battery if left on after the battery was fully charged. This PD-9245 reduces power to trickle charge once the battery/batteries are fully charged. This allows me to keep the power on all the time and not worry about charging the batteries. I wish the traveling cord was longer or had an RJ-11 connector instead of plugging directly into the traveling cord. My trailer has no hanging space 5 feet from a cord that is out of the way and visible. I also want to see the status from the outside so it can be seen from my house. I need to extend the cable with an extra phone cord and adapter.
