- I bought these blades to replace the old blades on my old Wahl HomePro Model CMOD device. When I bought the blades I wasn't sure if they were the right blades. It's not the blades. I first had to take off my old blades and compare them to the Revain photo. It would be obvious that they will not work. Therefore, if in doubt, FIRST remove and compare your old blades before you buy them. So I was looking for the right blades. Again. I decided to just wait for the Illinois election center to open in the morning and call them. I spoke to Michelle who was available after a phone call. She knew about my machine and told me that the only way to get replacement blades for my particular machine is through Wahl directly. They cost $10. Hi! No problem! Then I mentioned that I bought replacement blades and they weren't the right blades. She apologized and said she would send my blades for free! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! She took my information including my phone number and said she would go through my order to make sure they understood what type of blades I need. She wanted my number in case there was a problem. Unfortunately there was a problem. My unit is too old and they no longer make my blades. Big fat BAMMER. I asked them what a good replacement block was as I saw different blocks on their website. She recommended a few and told me to go to Walmart, Target, or Revain as their prices are better than Wahl's. I can't say enough about their excellent customer service! So now I'm looking for a replacement block for my fake replacement blades.
