With over 1800W this steamer is a winner! Today I unpacked it for the first time and used it for clothes. Before buying I read a lot of reviews and I liked what I read. A common comment was how small the hole for the water tank is. Is that so. However, my solution is very straightforward. I used a sauce separator to add water to the tank. (I used to use it to fill my iron.) I haven't spilled a drop. Contrary to one review, I found the instructions easy to understand, although they stacked up like a map. All instructions in English are on the bottom half and you just need to read the pages from left to right. Flip it over and the rest of the instructions will remain below. No problem. As people have recommended, I waited longer than the advertised 40 seconds to warm up. I walked about 1:40 minutes. To be honest I was surprised at how quickly the blue light went from blinking to steady! I only used the lowest of the five settings to get the results you see in the photo. (Only one side has been steamed, so you can easily tell the difference.) The built-in crease is smooth. First I tried feeding the fabric without lifting the folding arm. The results were good, but I had a hard time avoiding wrinkles and keeping the edge lines. I then tried raising and lowering the fold lever slightly (easily with the thumb of the hand holding the damper) and it became much easier to move the fabric through the fold. Full size steamer - and I actually bought it but never tried it after reading the manual. This Conair steamer proved my assumption wrong. If I'm happy with the results at the lowest setting, I'm excited at the possibilities at higher settings. Overall a quality product and perfect for my use when I'm only steaming one or two clothes at a time. The attachments are EASY to put on and take off (unlike the full size vaporizer I bought). When not in use, accessories and instructions fit easily into a snack-sized zip-lock bag. I'm glad I don't have to dig out the ironing board in my little house. I just hang my steam clothes on the shower door so I don't have to worry about damaging the door either. I got NO steam burns on my first attempt at using a steamer, which says a lot because I'm a bit clumsy. By the way, I believe all the buttons will work for both left-handed and right-handed people - I'm right-handed. Along with the product instructions and my advice I think you will be very happy with this Conair steamer.
