Review on Premium 10X42 Binoculars For Adults: Lightweight, Waterproof & Perfect For Outdoor Adventures! by Covey Palmer

Not great with glasses

If you don't wear glasses, you can make these work. The diameter of the hole on the ocular lens is smaller than other pairs of binoculars I've used. When I hold the two binoculars side by side, this pair has a noticeably smaller lens next to the eye, even though the binoculars are both 10x42. This smaller lens opening means that if you're not holding the binoculars directly up next to your eyeballs, your field of view is severely limited because you're looking through a smaller hole. Kind of like you can see well through a people in the door if you put your eye right next to it but if you back up an inch or two all of a sudden you can't see as much. That's really the biggest problem on these and otherwise they're basically fine. They don't let in as much light as binoculars with a larger objective lens, but they're clear enough in good light. The optics are standard and they do seem to magnify as advertised. The focus wheel works quickly to bring the object into focus. They are waterproof, or at least they claim to be waterproof, which is essential because a non-waterproof pair of binoculars can fog up on the inside and there's nothing you can do about it.There are a lot of options right now for effective and low priced binoculars so given the problem with the field of view on these if you wear glasses, I see no particular reason to recommend these. I do wear glasses and these binoculars are definitely not my favorites.
