These hanging bags fit the 2013 X5 xdrive50i (Direct Fit) without any problems. They look a bit thinner in diameter than the originals pulled out, but the old ones may have stretched a bit after 100,000 miles. Pinch the rear airbags and remove them by turning clockwise.4. Remove the airline fitting with a 10mm5 wrench. Use pliers to remove or break off the collet from the tip6. Push the threaded part outwards 7. Clean the air line of dust and dirt and then feed the line through the existing cuff into the recess of the bag. Arnott bags do not come with plastic boots.8. Insert the airline into the Arnott bag holder and push firmly until it stops9. Gently tug on the leash to ensure it is secure10. Insert the pouch into the top of the slot and twist counterclockwise11. Insert the relay 12. Attach the dust cover 13. Take the key and go to the driver's door or open the door and turn on the car. You will hear the engine running as the tail begins to lift. Also known as an air spring or rear air spring. For vehicles with level control (Arnott part number: ARN-A2642). BMW OEM # 37126790079. It is recommended to replace both, especially if the mileage is high. Height measurements before installation 30 inches. By 32 inches on both sides. Craft should take 1-3 hours. Tools used: 8 and 10mm head, ratchet, pliers, screwdriver, 10 spanners, jack and stand.
