Remember they are only suitable for garment weight leather. That being said, as long as you use a new needle for each project, they'll probably work as well for you as they did for me. It should be noted that even with leather weight clothing, I only use these in my powerful home sewing machine. I think my other machine will burn if I try to sew leather on it. Just my suggestion - if you have an expensive (or sentimentally valuable) but NOT heavy home sewing machine, you might want to think twice or thrice about putting extra stress on that machine when sewing leather.
