These construction screws are SUPER! The hex head makes them easy for my driver to hold and the screw pattern pulls the screw into even the oldest and toughest wood. Honest! I have never felt anything like this! I'm working on remodeling a house where wood has been standing for 40 years and nails are hard to hammer in without a gun. They go in like butter. I never thought I would fall in love with screw design! Even better, because they're load-bearing (and can handle shear loads much better than other screws), they make installing metal structural connectors a breeze! No more bruising my thumbs from missing a nail or hard hitting tight spots!
