Does the job
I bought these to have a travel kit to restore my curls while in OT. They definitely do the job, but their reliability is around a 6.5/10. I actually impaled myself with one of the thinner latches to tighten the locks because it bent while I was out. Sounds bad, but I'd say don't move too fast with smaller or finer needles until you can feel them. In addition, local jewelry will fade and fade within 1 week of continuous wearing (do not get wet). All in all 8/10 for me. I wouldn't buy it again because the tools I needed most in the set have stood the test of time and multiple trips.
