I bought these to teach my 6 year old granddaughter to skate with me. I tightened the wheels so they wouldn't roll as fast while learning. These are good skates. Very soft and lined on the inside, with lacing, Velcro and a transverse clip. The wheels seem fine. They don't sparkle as brightly as some wheels, but pink and purple skates are two of her favorite colors. I think the finger rests need replacing, they are hard, brittle plastic and will likely wear out fairly quickly. She broke down shortly after her first try, threw a tantrum and was about to throw them away, but now she's obsessed with them! We recommend buying!
